looks can be decieving
Look at this precious smiling baby. What a joy to watch him smile and hear him start to make noises. Well in the evenings his noises sound like this WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. He has gas issues and a colic. So we treasure the moments when he smiles and when he is sleeping. We still love him though. Colic doesn't last forever thank the lord for that.

Major blow out
I have given Owen a couple of formula botttles because I was going to be gone for the evening and was going to miss 2 feedings and so I pumped 1 bottle and had formula for the other. Well no one told me you are only suppose to do like 2 ounces of formula so I did like 4 ounces and didn't think anything of it. Well so the next day I ate pizza for lunch with Lindsey and come to find outOwen doesn't like it. So I had to give him formula bottle again to pump out the pizza milk. We went to Eugene the next day because Tad had to be at a home show for work so I pumped another bottle for him of breast milk. Well it's been two days and Owen has not POOPED yet and his tummy was sooooo sore. We gave him gas drops after gas drops and notheing was happening. He was farting so I though we were making progress. NOPE. So Sunday there was a little squirts in his diaper and though ok we are getting somewhere. Well I was feeding him this morning and he pooped EVERYWHERE. Soaked through his onsie, soaked through the leg of his sleeper and all over his sock. I used a burp rag to pri the clothes off of him and put him right into the bath tub. At least he POOPED:)
PKU Test suck
Poor Owen he has had two of these dumb test done and each time they come back unsatisfactory. So guess what the Doctor called today to tell us the same thing and we had to come in and get it AGAIN. Tad was so mad when I called him he said they better not be charging us because they can't do the dymb test right. Owen hates this test and let everyone in the office know it. So hopefully 3rd times a charm and we won't have to do the dumb test again. The doctor said if the hospital calls again to tell him it was inconclusive he was going to ignor them:)
Owen's dedication
We had Owen dedicated at the church that I grew up in EBC on Sunday March 15th, 2009. It was so special. Pastor Jerry called up each family seperatly and dedicated their child and families to the Lord. Owen had both sets of Grandparents there, all 3 Great Grandparents, Aunt June came, and Nathen and Ashley came. Jordan and Lindsey were at a Wedding and Colby and Laura were in Arizona. We were all sad they couldn't be there with us, but they all pray for Owen and love him. I hope Tad and I can continue to pray for Owen and to be able to show him to the Lord. What a wonderful thing to have your child be dedicated to the Lord and to also know that you have the support or your pastor, family, and your church family as well.

Maddie and Abbie
These precious girls have been apart of my life for 4 years and it kills me that I don't get to see them every day since I am not working anymore. I was Maddie's kindergarten teacher during the summer at Sonshine School, and for the past 2 years I have been Abbie's preschool teacher. They brought us dinner and they got to meet Owen. Abbie has never held a baby before and Owen got to be her first one. These girls have been such a blessing in my life and I know that God will do wonders in their lives.

Here comes trouble
We went to my cousin Amy's for the afternoon and Jace was waking up from his nap when Jaxon went into the room and got inside the packand play with him. I decided to put Owen into it as well. We were missing Cade maybe Megan can photoshop him in. These boys growing up together is only asking for trouble. Are us parent's ready to deal with what's coming?
Owen's Growen
Owen will be a month old on Friday and he is so strong already. He is holding his head up for just a few minutes before it flops over, and he sits up on a pillow or in the boppy for a few seconds before he goes down. I can't believe how fast time goes by and how much he has grown. HE is starting to lose some of his hair in the front and he is filling out. He's a good little eater. He has a temper though. When he gets mad he'll stand straight up stiff as a board. Other times when your holding him he'll kick his legs like he's a frog and he'll move up towards your body. He's almost grown out of his newborn onseies since he's so long they are to short. Good thing he has a closet full of 0-3 month clothes that he can start wearing.
